At Zenport, our mission is to bring together talented individuals from all over the world to form well-functioning teams that design, build, and scale digital solutions that enable ambitious companies to achieve sustainability. We believe that sustainability should be accessible to everyone, and that by providing organizations with the tools and expertise they need to create sustainable products, services, and operations, we can help create a better future for all.
Our story
As every good movie starts with an origin story, we thought it would be worth sharing the story behind our startup, Zenport. I, Hendrik, have spent the last 5 years working in management consulting focused on digital transformation. I've worked on projects in various industries, helping companies develop their digital strategies, data strategies, and portfolio strategies. I've even helped steer the development of web and app use cases, industrial IoT platforms, and built full-fledged startups for our clients.
But one thing started to bother me: while our planet is faced with ever-increasing crises like climate change, hunger, poverty, and inequality, these pressing issues rarely make it into the conversations around innovation and digital transformation, even though many projects could have a tremendous impact on addressing these challenges.
We founded Zenport with the mission to help companies achieve their ESG goals and become more sustainable. We believe that digital solutions can play a crucial role in enabling companies to address global issues and make a positive impact on the world. We want to bring together talented individuals from around the world to form effective teams that design, build, and scale these solutions.
We believe that our mission is important because the corporate landscape is changing, and ESG is increasingly becoming a key factor in corporate decision-making. From 2024 onwards, large companies in Europe will be required to publish sustainability information under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This standard will eventually apply to up to 50,000 large public-interest European companies and all listed companies on EU regulated markets.
